About Us
Jamie & Susan Alden
We are healers, teachers, leaders and the co-founders of Mind Body Aloha. Our dedication to helping others heal, transform and evolve began in 2003 when we opened The Open Door in Fayetteville, NC, the first holistic wellness center of its kind in that community.

Mind Body Aloha was inspired by our sincere passion for sharing what we've learned through decades of training, personal practice and mentorship from elders. Our integrative, holistic approach to wellness is one that infuses our experiences with wisdom, practices and plant medicines that are rooted in Native American, Hawaiian and ancient yogic traditions. Our workshops, retreats and private sessions integrate powerful tools such as the Medicine Wheel, Ho’oponopono, Himalayan Kriya & Meditation and Functional Nutrition.

It may seem unlikely that two warriors, both West Point graduates and former Army officers, would be dedicated to this path. We've lived a dynamic and uncommon life. We are honored to pay forward the blessings bestowed upon us and share our gifts with people around the world.
Our unique offerings are grounded in timeless wisdom. We like to think of it as ancient medicine for a modern world.

We support individuals of all ages, families, organizations & change-makers around the world.
