About Jamie Alden
During my 24 years in the military, I served as a U.S. Army Special Forces Officer (also known as a Green Beret) and deployed throughout the world including four combat tours to Afghanistan. Throughout my military career, two things remained constant - my family and my commitment to mental, emotional, physical and spiritual well-being.
I have practiced yoga and meditation for two decades and can attest to the power of these practices on and off the battlefield. I am a Certified Sattva Yoga Teacher, trained by Master Anand Mehrotra in Rishikesh, India. I am also a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) through Yoga Alliance and with certifications in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and iRest® Yoga Nidra.
I've been blessed to be mentored by elders such as Maka'ala Yates, navigator on the first voyage of the Hōkūleʻa, who's wisdom of Ho'oponopono has been an important part of my journey. My offerings integrate my experiences as a warrior, my passion for Sattva Himalayan Meditation and Kriya and my sincere respect for indigenous wisdom.
In addition to my work with Mind Body Aloha Integrative Holistic Wellness and Nrf2 Warrior, I am a strategic consultant for U.S. military partners across the Pacific.
Most importantly, I'm a parent. Susan and I are raising two boys to be the aloha we wish to see in the world.

About Susan Pualani Alden
I graduated from the United States Military Academy in 1997 (yes, Jamie and I are West Point classmates) and served as an Army logistics officer. I taught my very first yoga class to my fellow paratroopers in the 82nd Airborne Division over 20 years ago, and I've been teaching ever since.
Soon after transitioning from the military, I began pursuing additional training in Hatha Yoga and Transcendental Meditation. In 2004, I began facilitating transformational retreats in collaboration with Native American elders, that integrated yoga, meditation, art, music and healing traditions such as the sweat lodge.
As the daughter of a Medicine Woman, I grew up with a strong foundation in natural healing and indigenous wisdom. I've been blessed to train with many other masters and native elders throughout my life.
I am a Certified Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT) through the International Association of Yoga Therapists as well as a 500 Hour Registered Yoga Teacher and Continuing Education Provider through Yoga Alliance (YACEP). I also have training and experience in Reiki, Aromatherapy, Mana Lomi, Ho'oponopono, The Native American Medicine Wheel, Hula and iRest® Yoga Nidra. Additionally, I have expertise in Functional Medicine and Nutrigenomics.
From 2015-2019, I served as a faculty member and the Executive Director of Warriors at Ease, a non-profit organization committed to sharing evidenced-based, trauma-sensitive yoga and meditation to military and veteran communities.
Trained in India by Master Anand Mehrotra, I'm honored to bring Kriya Yoga, Naad, Himalayan Kundalini, Laya, Hatha Vinyasa and Sattva Meditation to the West.
